We’ve been waiting for some new videos to get posted on Youtube showing Lin Yu Chun singing songs we haven’t heard yet. We found this amateur videographer’s recording live from the game. The first song he sings is “Taiwan Will Touch Your Heart.” The baseball fans settle down a bit for the next song, as they rose to listen to Lin Yu Chun sing the US National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner.”  Several times during the performance there was spontaneous cheering. At the end of the performance he received huge applause. 

The baseball game ensued and the Los Angeles Dodgers went on to beat the Detroit Tigers 6-4, continuing the May Miracle winning streak.  It was an exciting game, especially after a Detroit home-run in the 5th and a base-loaded threat in the seventh. It looked like Detroit might pull ahead,  but fitting to the occasion, Taiwan born Dodger pitcher Hong Chih-Kuo shut down Tiger Miguel Cabrerra who grounded out to end the seventh. After that Detroit had the Tiger’s by the tail.
